Luxury Restaurant in Central London
Luxury Restaurant, Central London – Bespoke Curtain Walling
This high-profile project in central London required a bespoke curtain walling solution for a luxury restaurant fit-out. Working in partnership with main contractor Brown and Carroll (London) Ltd, Advanced Glass was tasked with designing, fabricating, and installing a glazed façade that delivered both striking aesthetics and reliable performance in a challenging urban environment.
The scheme demanded a system that would integrate seamlessly into a complex architectural design while maintaining high levels of acoustic control, airtightness, and thermal efficiency. Logistics were a key consideration, with a tight site footprint and restricted access requiring careful planning of procurement, fabrication, and installation.
Advanced Glass supplied and installed a bespoke curtain walling system using slimline aluminium profiles to create an elegant glazed frontage. The façade not only enhanced the restaurant’s brand presence but also met the strict performance standards required for safety and durability.
By managing the full process in-house, from design and fabrication through to specialist installation, Advanced Glass reduced risk, ensured programme certainty, and delivered a façade that exceeded client expectations. This project demonstrates our ability to execute technically complex, design-driven schemes in some of the UK’s most demanding locations.

Luxurious urban restaurants are the perfect environment for high-end glazing solutions to come into their own. Bacchanalia Restaurant in central London is a case in point – a stunning eating establishment with opulent interiors and an equally eye-catching floor-to-ceiling glass walling system that makes a striking impression on guests and passers-by alike. In 2022, the Advanced Glass team had the pleasure of delivering and installing a premium glazing system at Bacchanalia, as part of a major refurbishment undertaken by main contractor Brown and Caroll (London) Ltd. Read on to find out more.

Our customer Brown and Caroll is synonymous with many of the stylish renovations and refits carried out at some of London’s most elegant historical and modern buildings. Projects include work on the Bloomberg Headquarters and other contemporary corporate buildings in the City, the art deco Worshipful Company of Leathersellers, and the decadent Edwardian interiors of Annabel’s Private Members Club in Berkeley Square. So we were delighted to be asked to take part in the refurbishment they were undertaking at Bacchanalia in Mount Street, London. Bacchanalia is a contemporary Greek and Italian restaurant known as much for its grandeur and jaw-dropping architecture as it is for its fine food and wine. The project was due for completion by September 2022. Our role was to deliver a bespoke premium glazing system that enhanced both the visual appeal and functionality of the space.

The restaurant is located in a busy part of London with an extensive street-facing façade on two sides. As part of the renovation, the restaurant’s management required a high-performance glazing system that improved the security of the business while also providing enhanced privacy and comfort for diners. The glazing also required a high level of insulation to keep out noise from the street, and good energy efficiency to improve the restaurant’s sustainability and utilities expenditure.
The primary challenge our team faced was ensuring that the glazing installations aligned with the restaurant’s intricate architectural design while meeting the customer’s performance requirements. We recommended several high-performing aluminium glazing products to achieve the desired architectural vision and performance characteristics.
The project featured Technal MX Curtain Walling, a system known for its sleek design and structural integrity, allowing for expansive glazed areas that maximise natural light. Additionally, Reynaers SL38 Aluminium Windows were installed to provide a balance of elegance, thermal efficiency, and durability.
Why we specified these products:
Advanced Glass worked closely with Brown and Carroll (London) Ltd to coordinate precise installation techniques, ensuring seamless integration with the restaurant’s interior and exterior design elements. The use of high-quality materials and expert craftsmanship allowed for an impeccable finish within the project timetable and budget.
The successful completion of Bacchanalia Restaurant’s glazing project highlights our team’s versatility and expertise in delivering bespoke solutions for high-end commercial spaces. The installation of Technal MX Curtain Walling and Reynaers SL38 Aluminium Windows has enhanced both the aesthetic and functional aspects of the venue, contributing to a sophisticated and energy-efficient environment. The restaurant and its customers also appear happy with the result.
From luxury restaurants to hotels, city centre offices, heritage buildings, and rural schools, Advanced Glass delivers tailored curtain walling and glazing solutions to meet the demanding performance and aesthetic needs of our clients and their customers.
